About

Ludovica Danovaro graduated in Electronic Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Genoa in September 2022. She then enrolled in the European Master on Advanced Robotics (EMARO), a double-degree program in collaboration with the University of Genoa and École Centrale de Nantes. She completed her master’s thesis at INRIA, within the ACENTAURI team, titled "Comparison of advanced control methods for autonomous navigation of a mobile platform in a human-populated environment." Her research focused on analyzing different advanced control techniques to improve autonomous robot navigation in human-populated spaces, specifically addressing the Freezing Robot Problem, which involves the robot’s difficulty in adapting dynamically to human movement in shared environments.

Since October 2024, Ludovica has started a new phase in her career as a Research Fellow at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in the Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence department.
